Do You Possess Well-Being?

Webster's Dictionary defines well-being as, "the state of being happy, healthy or prosperous"

What are 3 characteristics you would need to possess in order to feel a sense of well-being in your life? I've got numerous attributes that would define "Well-Being", but here are several that embody the definition for me, personally:

1. VITALITY, having energy to do what I need to do and enjoying doing.

2. Having PEACE OF MIND; being able to sleep well and live without chronic worrying.

3. Accepting Change in my life, and using it to my benefit! Change is inevitable so I might as well prosper from it!!

4. Having CONFIDENCE in myself. I can handle whatever life hands to me. I accept the challenge.

5. Being GRATEFUL and APPRECIATING my Life as it is, right here, right now.

6. Having a POSITIVE Body Image.

7. Engaging in FULFILLING Relationships.

Taking Responsibility for your Well-Being

I read this book in the late 1980's. It is still in print. Its content; somewhat obscure, especially back then. However, still to this date, I find relevant statements that help reinforce a self-empowered life.

"Your happiness depends upon what you think of yourself. That is freedom and relaxation. To place your well-being in the hands of another is like wanting a painting of a colorful dawn, but meekly allowing the artist to paint what he prefers, perhaps a bowl of fruit. You must stop that. Even if it produces a temporary emotional crisis in you--which it will--you must stop it. You must please yourself as your inner integrity tells you to do; regardless of the consquences. You must consent to nothing that compromises with what you know is right for you. And that inner voice is always telling you what is right, isn't it?"

Delicious Living Well-Being Tips for Autumn:

My MUST have! Somewhere between moisturizer and foundation this SPF20 tinted moisturizer goes on smooth and leaves a luminescent coverage! The pump dispenser gives just the right amount of fluid to give my complexion a more even finish and gives a subtle glow. I absolutely love this product! This is it. This is the right combination of color, coverage, sunscreen, finish, etc. Coverage is sheer-to-medium (it's fairly buildable), the finish is semi-matte, stands up to humidity, and looks good doing it. win, win, win.
